The Office of Network Operations is responsible for the State’s Network
Infrastructure and provides cost effective, reliable, secure network
resources and solutions to distribute voice, data, and video to our
customers using industry standards. The State’s Enterprise Network
Infrastructure supports Voice, Data, Internet, and Video Applications. There
are two significant physical infrastructures that support transportation of
State applications. The Statewide Infrastructure is leased under contract
from BellSouth, and the Campus Infrastructure is owned by the Finance
Department, ISD. Network Operations is unique in the fact we have no
application. We are the transport infrastructure for accomplishing agencies
network missions.
